Edgar A. Hirsch, III has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1980 and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York since 1984.
Mr. Hirsch was formerly associated with the firms, Martin, Clearwater & Bell and Kroll, Pomerantz & Cameron. He was a partner in the medical litigation unit of Rivkin, Radler & Kremer. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Hirsch had spent five years as a partner and senior trial attorney at Matturro & Hirsch. His responsibilities include trial and appellate work in the courts of the State of New York and the Federal Courts.
Mr. Hirsch regularly serves as a Barrister in the American Inns of court, an organization comprised of prominent judges, law professors, and practicing attorneys organized to cultivate and enhance the trial skills of your attorneys and graduating law students. Mr. Hirsch participates in monthly meetings of the organization, which includes demonstrations of trial and cross-examination skills. He is also a member of the Medical Legal Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and has lectured for the Nassau Academy of Law. Mr. Hirsch has served as a guest lecturer at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and has lectured at North Shore University Hospital on behalf of Group Council Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. Hirsch is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law where he served as an editor of the Syracuse Law Review. His undergraduate training was at the University of Virginia where he graduated magna cum laude.
Susan Fagen Britt
Susan Fagan Britt has been a member of the New York Bar since 1985, and has been a member of the bar of the United District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 1985.
Prior to joining Hirsch, Britt & Mosé, Ms. Britt was an associate and then a partner at Matturro & Hirsch. Ms. Britt was associated with the firm Rivkin, Radler & Kremer where she practiced for eight years. She has tried medical malpractice cases and handled major general liability, products liability, professional liability, discrimination and civil RICO matters.
She is an instructor in the in the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and a Barrister of the Theodore Rosevelt Chapter of the American Inns Court. She is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Public Health at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and has lectured for "in-service" programs at Franklin Hospital Medical Center, the Northport Veterans Administration Hospital and LaGuardia Hospital. Ms. Britt has also taught at Hofstra University School of Law. She is a member of the Medical-Legal Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and has lectured for the Nassau Academy of Law.
Ms. Britt has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the American Lung Association of Nassau-Suffolk Counties, New York. She is also a member of the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. Ms. Britt also serves as a mediator for the Supreme Court, Nassau County, New York.
Prior to law school, Ms. Britt practiced as a registered nurse at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center and the State University Hospital at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently, she served as a lecturer in microbiology at Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York.
Ms. Britt is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at Adelphi University, where she majored in Biology.
Frederick P. Mosé
Frederick P. Mosé has been a member of the New York Bar since 1974 and the Florida Bar since 1979. He has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 1974. Frederick was also admitted before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Prior to joining Hirsch, Britt & Mosé he was associated with Montfort, Healy, McGuire, & Salley. He was also with Rivkin, Radler & Kramer, where Mr. Mosé served as a partner in the Medical Litigation Department. In 1985 Mr. Mosé Co-Founded the Law Firm of Rossano, Mosé, Corleto & Andron, P.C. where he held the title of Senior Trial Attorney through December of 1999.
Mr. Mosé enjoys the reputation of an exceptional Trial Attorney in complex Litigation having provided his services to Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company, Physicians' Reciprocal Insurance Company, The Nassau County Health Care Corporation, and numerous hospitals including North Shore University Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center of Brooklyn, Long Beach Memorial Hospital, and Huntington Hospital among others.
Mr. Mosé has lectured on behalf of the Practicing Law Institute and has served on the faculty of the NITA Trial Techniques Program at Hofstra University School of Law.
Mr. Mosé is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law. He Received his undergraduate training at C.W. Post Colloge of Long Island University.
